The topic of manifestation came up and I decided to teach them a bit more about how it works and what it is. What happened once they realized the power of their imagination was unbelievable.

Last week I had the pleasure of my nine-year-old niece and nephew coming over and spending some time with me. We got into a conversation about possibilities, spirituality, and limitlessness. I was thinking about how one of my life long dreams has been to buy a house for my brother, wife, and kids. They live in a trailer park in South Carolina, but I want to provide them with room to grow and a house that is beautiful for those kids to grow up in. Growing up, my brother and I didn’t have a house like that, we moved a lot. The first house I was in, my dad ended up selling. Then the next house after was my step dad’s who ended up divorcing my mom, so I don’t have a childhood home. It kind of hurts a little. We want to be able to visit the place we grew up in and had these memories to revisit.
I want my niche and nephew to have that, I want them to be able to look back and remember their house and how safe, lucky, and taken care of they were. During the week with them visiting, I knew and believed I wanted to get them a house, with every fiber of my being. I decided to do a ritual and write down all the things I want to provide to my niece and nephew, but I came to a realization, this isn’t about me. This is about them. How do I make this about us and bring them into the equation? How do I explain the power of manifesting to two nine-year-olds? So I bring them to my office and I teach them a bit about manifestation.
As I began explaining the power of manifesting to my niece and nephew, I told them if they truly believe something could exist, it could. I told them they are both magical creatures and beings on this planet. They both look at me as if I’m crazy, but I explained this is something they never lose as they get older. Just sometimes other people block our abilities to capture this f*cking magic inside of us and manifest the destiny we’ve always wanted. I told them we’d play a little fun game, we lit all my intention candles, gratitude, success, money, and abundance.
My niece and nephew are having a f*cking ball with this, and I ask them to close their eyes and imagine their dream house. They both look at me confused at first, but I ask them to tell me everything they want in their house and to let their imagination go crazy. I grab a bunch of markers and an easel, I added how much I’d pay to the house and the down payment. They tell me they want the house blue or white, with a red or yellow door. They want five bedrooms, three bathrooms, they get so specific to the point where my nephew said he wanted three bathrooms and two need double sinks. During this time they get really into it, they realize the power of their imagination.

As I watched my niece and nephew let their imagination run wild and envision their dream home, they never once stopped themselves and thought it was impossible or unrealistic. This made me step back and realize how often we as adults sit there and instantly feel guilty for wanting something or adding excuses as to why we can’t achieve something.
We were all once at that young age with huge dreams and big visions. Somewhere along the way, society, our parents, or people we come into contact with sh*t on those ideas and dreams.
All of the sudden, we start to get disconnected from our intuition and ourselves. Imagine as adults, we could have those types of ideas without shutting ourselves down, we can say something like “I want to make millions of dollars in my business”, without any guilt associated with it. The power of manifesting and what it can do to our lives is incredible. Your life could be magical because manifestation is magic. Manifestation is like Santa Claus, if you don’t believe it works, then it’s not going to work. If you can’t say it out loud, believe, and visualize the possibilities ahead of you, it’s never going to happen.
As you listen to this episode, I hope that today you take one minute to let yourself dream, without getting into the reality or inner-critic room. I want you to dream so big it makes your head f*cking explode. Think about all the possibilities inside of you and your life, put them all on a board.
I want you to look at that f*cking board, let it sink in, believe in this magic. Believe in your possibilities and your limitlessness. You can and will have everything you f*cking desire if you allow it to happen.
