I’m so sick of people exploiting feminine energy to make money in their business or just to get more sales.

You will hear every other f*cking coach on this entire planet talk about this differently, everyone is allowed their own opinion. For me, this is the difference between the two, masculine energy is the hustle, the structure, the statistics. In my head, I picture masculine energy as the person in the 1980’s movie who works on wall street doing so much cocaine that they’re running around screaming hustle, sell, buy! That energy and that force is masculine energy.
Feminine energy is more about flow, it’s being in the zone. This is more about sitting back and receiving everything you’ve ever wanted without having to force anything and surrendering control of your thoughts or the outcomes. This energy is allowing yourself to be in the situation without the hustle and the force, it’s more chill. I don’t believe they are binary, they are non-binary.
So many coaches make feminine energy out to be as if making money will just come to you and you have to be a goddess walking around with a big flowy dress sniffing flowers. If that’s your idea of feminine energy, amazing, that’s great. We struggle when we have women come in and don’t connect to that idea. Some women sit there and think to themselves that they can’t possibly step into their feminine energy because they’re not a girly girl. Does stepping into my feminine energy mean I have to wear makeup and wear dresses all the time? Not at all. Stepping into your feminine energy is more about figuring out what flows for you.
I will give you a personal story here – I didn’t relate to feminine energy last year. I thought it was such a crock of sh*t and it didn’t make sense to me. I had this conversation with my coach and I told her that I’ll never step into this feminine energy, it doesn’t feel good to me. My coach says, “Who says you’re not in feminine energy now?” She says, “Amanda how many sales are you making and how much money have you brought in this month?” I told her about 10k worth of sales and she asked me why I don’t believe that’s feminine energy right there. She asked me whether it was hard to bring in that money, and I realized it was fairly simple, I just showed up online and spoke my truth. This was when I realized I didn’t have to hustle and push during this time, and that is what feminine energy is.

A lot of people use feminine energy as a sales tactic and as an easy approach to making money, it’s gross. This further pushes the notion that it’s a one size fits all thing, We as women work so hard not to be put into boxes and then we come into the coaching world and sometimes it feels like every coach is trying to put us in a box. We are told that feminine energy looks like taking these luxurious baths, eating chocolates, and walking around as if you’re a goddess. This is used as a sales tactic, why? It’s sexy as f*ck, and it’s an appealing concept.
The reality is – to be making money, you have to have masculine energy behind this, you have to have this beautifully balanced relationship with both. One cannot exist without the other. We hear coaches in the high six and seven figures toting this idea of feminine energy, sitting in the bath, and making $10k in a day. Women see this and think since this coach makes seven figures by sitting in a bathtub eating bonbons, that means I don’t have to do sh*t in my business and the money will flow to me. No, that is not how it works. We’re told to get into flow and embrace the feminine energy but you can’t have flow without the masculine, flow comes once you hustle your ass off.
When it comes to making money in business and also in general, you cannot live in a world full of just feminine energy. You can’t have one without the other, if any coach thinks you can, they’re wrong. To have those weeks where you don’t have to do anything and go on vacation with your family but still make money doing it, you need to have those weeks of hustle and launching your programs.
Don’t breathe into this notion that feminine energy is one size fits all and don’t allow coaches to put you in a box.
